Whats on in Suffolk this summer ...
SUNFLOWERS GALORE!
If you’re looking for cheap days out in Suffolk this summer, Rougham Estate throws open its doors (fields) for the third year to show off the joyous spectacle of two glorious hectares of blooming sunflowers.
Enjoyed by photographers, artists, gardeners, couples, families and children from all over East Anglia, the Estate invites visitors to not only enjoy its sea of blooms, but meander through the paths created, capturing striking photos amongst the ocean of yellow and pick their own to enjoy later at home.
Flowers start at just £2 per stem, with the Estate lending secateurs (for a small refundable deposit).
Visitors can enjoy the cafe, open every day from 9am to 5pm, with free admission and parking.
Activities for children also include climbing the big bale pyramid, a bug hunt challenge and playing in the sandpits. There is something for everyone!
This wonderful field is located in Rougham, just east of Bury St Edmunds; it is easily accessible from Ipswich, Woodbridge and further afield and clearly signposted from junction 45 of the A14. It makes a great day out for families on a budget in and around Suffolk.
Free admission, free parking and toilet facilities available.
