Suffolk Classic Cars specialist spreads a little Christmas cheer!
Bridge Classic Cars is motoring forward this year with plans to deliver some much-needed Christmas sparkle to residents of local care homes with a Mince Pie Drive.
On December 1st, a convoy of classic cars will complete a very special festive tour, as they visit several care homes in the region, whilst delivering mince pies kindly gifted by The Bakehouse Bakery in Woodbridge.
The tour includes:
Bucklesham Grange
Highlands Care Home
Wickham House Care Home
Glebe House Care Home
Residents of these care homes will have the opportunity to get up close with cars from days gone by. They may see a car they used to drive or always wanted to own. There will be different classic cars to admire and plenty of mince pies to enjoy too. Christmas is a time for generosity and kindness and Bridge Classic Cars wants to make sure the residents of local care homes play a big part in this year’s Christmas celebrations.
Lily Griffiths, events organiser with the firm - renowned in Suffolk for being home to all things classic cars - tells us; “We are really looking forward to our first ever Mince Pie Drive. I think this is a fantastic way to give back to the community, while also giving local care home residents the opportunity to admire some beautiful classic cars. The last few years have been challenging for so many people, and carers and the residents they look after have had it harder than most. I hope that by visiting them in classic cars with mince pies in hand, we can help kickstart their Christmas 2023!”
Bridge Classic Cars specialises in the restoration and maintenance of vintage and classic vehicles. Established in 2004, a full in-house service is provided by a skilled and experienced team of technicians.
Built on a passion for classic cars, the team have restored rare and one-off vehicles in their state-of-the-art workshop based in Petistree near Woodbridge.
In addition to its award-winning restorations, Bridge Classic Cars is also encouraging a new audience to join the world of classic car enthusiasts. With its successful competitions, everyone has the opportunity to win their dream classic car for just a few pounds.
After a bespoke extension of the workshop, a full calendar of events now takes place in The Atelier at Bridge Classic Cars including live music, car meets, and evenings with celebrities and local movers and shakers.
It is a hub for the classic car enthusiast community and, with a growing audience and clientele, the team is making sure vintage and classic vehicles can be enjoyed and admired by future generations.
