John Day, founder of the East Anglian Traditional Art Centre, says, “We have always researched and collected works by George Rope, and this is a rare opportunity to see a group of his pictures. Our objective in the Art Centre is to promote interest in the Fine Art produced by Suffolk Artists working between 1750 and 1950, many of whom exhibited in the 19th century at the Fine Art Club in Ipswich.”
The ‘Collector’s Choice’ Exhibition runs from Saturday 19th April until Saturday 3rd May, 11am until 4pm; Tuesday to Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday).
